From Bar to Bench and Back
Please join us, at the Second Circuit Education and Events Committee’s inaugural event, for a panel discussion moderated by Hon. James L. Garrity, and including Hon. Melanie L. Cyganowski, Hon. Robert E. Gerber, Hon. Arthur J. Gonzalez, Hon. Allan L. Gropper, and Hon. James M. Peck, that will explore the experiences of lawyers who become judges and judges who return to private practice. The evening will offer a unique opportunity to hear six current or former judges, all of whom are College Fellows, discuss the challenges (and rewards) of making the transition from practicing attorney to jurist and back again to private practice. The panel discussion will be followed by a question and answer session and a festive reception featuring fine food and beverages and the company of Fellows from the First, Second, and Third Circuits.
