The Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign launches each fall at the All-Fellows Luncheon and continues through the end of the year. This important tradition brings together Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy to support the Foundation’s mission and ensure continued funding for vital pro bono initiatives nationwide. We are deeply grateful to the Foundation Directors and volunteer fundraisers in each Circuit whose dedicated efforts and hard work are essential to meeting fundraising goals and sustaining our pro bono and professional pipeline grant programs. One of these 31 dedicated volunteers will be reaching out to you in the coming weeks with a friendly reminder to make your year-end donation. The need, and demand, for pro bono bankruptcy services has never been greater, and if the bankruptcy bar will not support these services, who will? The American College of Bankruptcy Foundation is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations to it are tax deductible. Please give—if not an hour of your time, then, at least, an hour of your money.
If your organization would like to support our efforts but does not have an internal mechanism to do so, please consider donating funds to the Foundation. The American College of Bankruptcy has an active committee of bankruptcy attorneys and judges that fully vets requests for grants and follows up to ensure that the grants have been used for the purpose requested. You may wish to consider a donation in memory of one of the many esteemed Fellows who have passed away.
