Applying for a Grant from the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation
The American College of Bankruptcy Foundation (the “Foundation”) awards grants to legal services organizations whose activities are consistent with the objectives of the mission of the Foundation. Grant awards are made by the Foundation’s Pro Bono Committee (the “Committee”).
Before Applying for a Grant
Please take a few minutes to look through our compilation of Pro Bono Resources. Select past grant recipients have made their electronic materials available to organizations providing pro bono legal services. Agencies received funds from the American College of Bankruptcy to create materials to aid pro bono attorneys in providing much needed bankruptcy assistance to low income debtors.

The Foundation recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused considerable changes in operations for potential grantees as well as demands on their resources. The Foundation hopes and expects that the June 1 grant application deadline will allow sufficient time for potential grantees to respond, but will continue to monitor the changing circumstances. Any potential grantee who experiences issues with the deadline may contact the Foundation to discuss their concerns.
